Week 3
Group:
This week we discussed ways to improve our website and parts of the website that we need to add more detail on. The progress log was then re-done to better explain the progress we've been making each week. We also looked at past senior design websites for inspiration. We also worked on creating a rendering for our project ideas and added a more detailed block diagram.
Anthony:
Render for Wearable Visual Aid for the Visually Impaired

Manuel:
Rough sketch for Automatic Guitar Tuner

Week 2
Group:
Week 2 of senior design Manuel and I came up with 2 more ideas, an automatic guitar tuner and a wearable visual aid device using a camera and AI (Artificial Intelligence). We found that the Automatic guitar tuner was already too similar to what is already out there, but found ways to make our product stand out from the rest. As for the wearable visual aid device, we discussed a way to bring it to a niche market in order to narrow the focus of the project. The idea is to implement it as a shopping aid and use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to read the brand of the item the user selects.
Week 1
Group:
In the first week of senior design, Manuel and I came up with 3 ideas. A smart mailbox, a video game, and a Heads up display GPS system using a laser projector for bicycles. We also created a website using WIX to showcase our progress and ideas.
